(April 18, 2006 – Vancouver, Canada ) Studio B, one of Canada’s leading animation studios, received seven Leo nominations over the weekend, Blair Peters, Studio B partner announced today. Two of their highly successful animated series were nominated. Being Ian, which airs on YTV, received three nominations and Pucca, a series produced for Jetix Europe, received four.
“It is always an honour to be nominated for a Leo Award, and to receive seven nominations is a record for Studio B,” said Peters. “It’s very exciting to have both Being Ian and Pucca up for awards. We’re looking forward to the awards night.”
