STUDIO B NAMES CFO ROB SIMMONS
AS GENERAL MANAGER

(Vancouver, BC )– Studio B partners Blair Peters and Chris Bartleman announced today that in addition to his role as Chief Financial Officer, Rob Simmons has been named General Manager of the high-profile animation studio.
“Rob’s vision and energy have really helped us move forward,” said Peters. “Since Rob joined Studio B five years ago, we have grown and further developed our reputation for quality and creativity on both a national and international level. Rob’s contributions to Studio B are many and both Chris and I are looking forward to Rob taking on the additional role of GM.”
Over the past 16 years, Studio B has evolved from being a service studio for the top entertainment companies in the world - to a creator and producer of programming content for kids. As the well-respected animation studio grew, they added financing, producing and owning proprietary shows to their already busy production schedule. In addition to his CFO responsibilities, the partners felt strongly that Simmons would also be the best person to fill the role of General Manager. In this newly created position, Simmons will manage the financial and day-to-day components of the business, allowing the partners to focus their energies on the creative and strategic aspects of the company’s ever growing production slate.
