			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Studio B Productions is an award-winning animation studio based in Vancouver  BC, which has produced over 300 half hours of original children’s shows.&nbsp; We are also proud to employ a team of more than 200 of Canada’s top artists, writers and producers. &nbsp;We are looking for an experienced Production Accountant to join our team!<strong></strong>
The Production Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial records during production.&nbsp; The Production Accountant will work closely with the Controller and show Producers to prepare cost reports for animation productions, as well as managing the day to day accounting office functions. <em></em>
<strong>Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:</strong>
<ul type="disc"><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Preparation, data entry and processing of accounts payable,      accounts receivables, and payroll in QuickBooks Pro</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Management of production cash flow</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Preparation<span>&nbsp; </span>and analysis of      cost reports </span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Work with productions to ensure show are on budget</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Obtain backup and approvals for invoices, cheque requisitions,      expense report, and purchase orders</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Process payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>File periodic remittances including GST,<span>&nbsp; </span>payroll and writers guild</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Audit      preparation and year end submission to CRA</span><span> </span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Management of revenue, including invoicing</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Liaise      with show Producers to assist in a<span>&nbsp;      </span>budget delivery of show</span><span></span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span>Other tasks and responsibilities as requested</span></li></ul>

<strong>Qualified candidate will have the following skill sets and experience/ education:</strong>
<ul type="disc"><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>2+ years experience in full cycle accounting</span><span></span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Currently have or working      towards obtaining an Accounting or Business Diploma/</span><span> Bachelor's </span><span>Degree</span><span>, or equivalent</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Experience in film and      television accounting or project based accounting with fixed budgets</span><span></span></li></ul>
<ul style="margin-top: 0mm;" type="disc"><li style="color: black;"><span>Advanced skill level with MS Excel and Quick Books Pro</span></li></ul>
<ul style="margin-top: 0mm;" type="disc"><li><span>Effective and professional communication skills both verbal and      written</span></li><li style="color: black;"><span>Candidate must be detail oriented and have strong organizational      and administrative skills</span></li></ul>
<ul style="margin-top: 0mm;" type="disc"><li style="text-align: justify;"><span>Must be able to work with strict deadlines,      multi-task and be proactive</span></li></ul>
<ul style="margin-top: 0mm;" type="disc"><li><span>Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff</span></li><li><span>Self motivated with demonstrated initiative</span></li></ul>

The Accountant will work with the Controller to prepare working papers, perform analysis and create reports used for management decision making, account for exploitation revenue and recoupment expense, and to administer internal controls. <em></em>
<strong>Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:</strong>
<ul type="disc"><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Recording of revenue from exploitation of film &amp; television      assets.<span>&nbsp; </span>Creation of working papers      to determine recoupment and royalty reporting to third parties;</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Assist with corporate and production full cycle accounting during      absences and during period of high production (i.e. accounts payable,      accounts receivable and payroll);</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Preparing working papers for year-end financial statements and tax      credits for all related companies;</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Preparing working papers for quarterly consolidated financial      statements;</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Updating documentation of internal controls and accounting policies      and procedures;</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Internal auditing for production companies and parent company;</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Analyze contracts for financial terms;</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Analyze projects for investment decisions;</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Analysis of cost recovery from production companies and preparation      of schedules for intercompany payments;</span></li><li style="color: black; text-align: justify;"><span>Updating activity based costing system used for determining      intercompany charges;</span></li><li style="text-align: justify;"><span>Other tasks and responsibilities as requested.</span></li></ul>
<strong>Qualified candidate will have the following skill sets and experience/ education:</strong>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<a name="OLE_LINK1"></a>Studio B Productions is an award-winning animation studio based in Vancouver BC, which has produced over 300 half hours of original children’s shows.&nbsp; We are also proud to employ a team of more than 200 of Canada’s top artists, writers and producers.<br /><br />We are currently seeking experienced <strong>Flash Animators</strong> to join our team. The animators will be responsible for animating characters and props to convey a meaning or story. In such a fast-paced environment with large volume of production work on the go, the ideal candidates must be an organized team player who is capable of keeping track of all tasks and has a good sense of humor.&nbsp; 
<strong><em>Animator (Flash) Responsibilities include:</em></strong>
<ul style="margin-top: 0mm;" type="disc"><li><span>Work under the direction of the animation supervisor and/or      producer to create and generate 2D animation sequences;</span></li><li><span>Able to work with strict deadlines and meet assigned weekly      animation quotas and expectations; </span></li><li><span>Responsive to animation direction to revise submitted animation in      order to obtain approved status;</span></li><li><span>Work collaboratively in a team environment to assist in the      development of other animators and the betterment of the show;</span></li><li><span>Continuously improve abilities and skills through knowledge of      current and latest animation techniques;</span></li><li><span>Other tasks and responsibilities as requested. </span></li></ul>

<strong><em>Qualified candidate will have the following skill sets and experience/ education:</em></strong>
<ul style="margin-top: 0mm;" type="disc"><li><span>Degree/Diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent experience;</span></li><li><span>Proficient and experience in animating with Macromedia Flash 8, <span>&nbsp;</span>Microsoft Internet Explorer;</span></li><li><span>Comprehension and knowledge of general and/or classical animation,      character animation and lip-synching;</span></li><li style="color: black;"><span>Ability to organize, </span><span lang="EN-CA">multi-task and prioritize;</span><span></span></li><li><span>Effective      and professional communication skills both verbal and written;</span></li><li><span>Self      motivated with demonstrated initiative.</span></li></ul>
