CG Opportunities –VFX Artist
CG production for Halifax Film, a DHX Media company, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia seeks an experienced VFX Artist to join our growing team. Full knowledge of Maya /RenderMan for Maya required. Studio environment is fast-paced and committed to creating high quality animation. Candidates should thrive as part of a team and take direction well. 
Responsibilities Include: <br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate with Supervisors to determine the projects’ needs.<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work closely with Lighting/VFX Artists to troubleshoot and fix problems arising in the course of production.<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Take direction from Technical Director, D.O.P. and Series Director as well as provide guidance and mentorship to other Lighting/VFX Artists. 
Qualifications Include:<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Full knowledge of Maya (Mel knowledge a plus)<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Effects animation experience in film or animated television series.<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience in producing effects such as smoke, clouds, water, steam and dust.<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ability to troubleshoot common rendering issues in RenderMan for Maya pipeline.<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Python scripting is a plus.<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Procedural shading and scripting knowledge a plus.<br />-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Must be extremely detail oriented and organized.

We are currently seeking a<strong> Producer</strong> who is responsible for overseeing all aspects of&nbsp;animation production from scripts, voice record, storyboards, animation and post-production&nbsp;through delivery to broadcasters. The Producer also ensures Studio B’s world class reputation and high production values are maintained.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
<ul><li>Establish and adhere Production schedule, budget and all deliverables in collaboration with the VP</li><li>With support of the HR department hires crew</li><li>Maintains strict attention to schedule and budget, including time sheets, invoices and production assets</li><li>Ensures that deadlines are met and is proactive when challenges present themselves</li><li>Being resourceful and maintaining a buoyant and productive atmosphere amongst their crew</li><li>Working closely with executives, clients,&nbsp;broadcasters and their crew&nbsp;to&nbsp;deliver on the creative vision of the series.</li></ul>

We are currently seeking a <strong>Production Coordinator </strong>who is responsible for assisting in the management of the production in order to keep the project on track.&nbsp; The Production Coordinator assists the Production Manager and Producer with the day to day running of the production.&nbsp; 
The <strong>Production Coordinator’s </strong>responsibilities include supporting the Production Manager and crew with an emphasis on scheduling.
<strong>Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: </strong>

We are currently seeking an experienced Storyboard Revisionist (Flash/Traditional) to join our team.&nbsp; The Story board Revisionist will be responsible to revise the given conceptual and visual representation of the given script/written story that was completed by the Board artist.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Our animators are responsible for animating characters and props to convey a meaning or story. Flash Animator Responsibilities include:
